Does Harmless accept demos?

While we appreciate your band thinking of us, we are not going to be releasing any more records as a label, so you might as well save your demos for active labels.

Where can I find the Dance/Funk/Soul titles?

We think this should be pretty obvious with even the quickest glance at our catalog, but still the emails and demos come..….There is another record company operating under the name “Harmless”. They are a newer UK-based label specializing in the above mentioned styles. We are an older US-based label specializing in Hardcore, punk rock, and indie rock. We have no affiliation with them, but they do have a webpage at: http://www.harmlessrecordings.co.uk

Will Harmless trade with my label for releases or allow me to take Harmless releases for my distro on consignment?

We do not run a distro or sell at shows ourselves, so we won’t trade for large quantities, but we are usually interested in trading for personal copies, so feel free to get in touch about that. As for consignment, we don’t do it because we have found that, despite what are almost always good intentions, we often don’t get paid, or get our records back. Our solution to this, however, is that we have NO MINIMUM order for wholesale.

Are you looking for interns/employees?

Since we have closed up shop, we have no need for new staff

Why is there no Harmless #18 or #23?

#18 was the Walker/Squirtgun split 7" & #23 was the VReverse s/t 7". They were both cancelled basically due to bands breaking up. They came close enough to have a catalog number assigned, but not so close that the records were pressed.
